In 2023, barkha received the Juried Bessie Artist Award and with that came support from New York State DanceForce to tour western NY. Barkha and her team of musicians will be traveling to three cities (Jamestown, Rochester, and Corning, NY) to present a full-evening work called Aham | Maha and teach workshops from September 5th - 15th!
